So that you can have a relaxed, enjoyable experience from beginning to end with choosing your wedding dress, we recommend starting your search 10 - 12 months before your wedding date. This will leave you plenty of time to make decisions without feeling rushed and to figure out what styles you love best. It is sometimes possible to order a wedding dress in a shorter time frame, however the longer you leave it, the less options you will have to choose from without incurring rush fees or designers may not be able to accommodate making the particular design in the time frame at all.

Our made to order wedding dresses are priced between £1500 - £3000

Our samples to try on range from between 10 - 16, most are sizes 12 & 14. As we are a smaller bridal store with a niche collection, our samples are more limited - however please don't be put off by the size on the label. All of the designers size charts vary and your dress won't have a size when its made to fit your body shape after alterations have been carried out - it'll be just right for you and you only! :) Even if a sample is too small or too big, our stylists are trained to help you envision how a gown will look when properly fitted to your figure with the use of pins and clips. Samples very rarely fit perfectly as they are there as a guide to help you find the perfect style - not size. So we do politely advise that a little bit of imagination is required when trying on. Your dress will be ordered based on your individual measurements.

This is dependent on individual size charts provided by the designer. Adriana Madrid, Serravalle, Love and Liberty and Freda Benet all go up to size 24. We have found that Romanova Ateliers size chart errs on the smaller side. For this reason, we suggest that Romanova realistically goes up to size 18 only.

For your very first appointment, we allocate 1 hour and 30 minutes which we've found to be the perfect time to try on without getting overwhelmed or 'dress blind'. If we run over time or you are in between styles, we will be pleased to book you a complimentary Bridal Retrial so you can come back and try on your favourites again.

Yes please! Our boutique is intimate, therefore we only take ONE bride at a time to give you the full experience and space you need to relax, think and have fun in private with the entire collection in full view whilst trying on. As we only take one appointment at a time, bookings are limited - please book in advance so you don't miss out! :)

We are unable to carry every sample that our designers create however, some designers allow us to loan dresses from their collection for a small fee and shipping costs (to be paid by the client). We permit a maximum of 3 guests plus the bride. We absolutely love for you to bring your entourage, however we do have to limit this number to keep your appointment as focused on you as possible and to accommodate everyone comfortably. This is non negotiable and we thank you in advance for your understanding. Children - We adore them, however we are unable to accommodate little ones between the ages of 0 - 10 due to having heavy mirrors, glass cabinets and lit candles in our store. Any children above the age of 10 count as one guest.

Just your beautiful self is fine! :) Nude underwear is a bonus so that you can envision as much as possible the final look or if you have already purchased your wedding shoes, feel free to bring those with you too!

For us to offer the best service we possibly can in your allotted time slot, we politely request that you save photos until the end of the appointment. Don't worry - you will get to re try your favourite dresses back on! :)

Once you've chosen your dress, your measurements have been taken and deposit has been placed, we will take care of everything else in between then and your dress arriving for you. After your dress arrives, we'll be in touch let you know and book you for your first fitting!

We carefully inspect it to make sure its in perfect condition. We then steam it, inspect it again and it'll be there waiting for you at your first fit appointment.

After the celebrations of finding The One and measurements have been taken, we will require a non-refundable 50% deposit of the total cost of the gown and any accessories additionally chosen on the day. The full balance is to be completed at your first fitting. For sample sale dresses, a full 100% non-refundable payment is required as you will be taking the dress home with you or sent for alterations on the same day as purchase.

When we talk about made to order wedding dresses, this means that the designers make your wedding dress especially for you once your order has been placed. Made to Order dresses are ordered based on your measurements being taken and a size being selected to the closest numerical dress size for your shape. Please be aware that although a dress is ordered in a size closest to your own, alterations by experienced seamstresses will always be required to achieve the desired finished look.

Most of our designers have a 6 - 8 month lead time, then we add on an extra couple of weeks for shipping and an additional 8 weeks for alterations. There is some possibility for gowns to be made in less time, however its very dependent and this may incur rush fees. Please contact us if you have any direct queries about particular styles or designers.

Although we don't carry out our alterations in-house, we do have two dedicated seamstresses that we have worked closely with for many years and know our dresses inside out therefore these are the ladies we recommend, although you are not required to use them. Once you have chosen your dress, we can arrange everything to do with alterations for you at your request. Alterations are an additional cost on top of the dress and are paid directly to the seamstresses independently.

Our seamstresses are self employed so all alterations carried out are an additional cost, separate to the purchase of your gown.

Please make sure that by your first fitting you bring with you the exact wedding shoes you will be wearing as the seamstresses will not be able to begin their work without this. If you are opting to wear a bra, please also bring this with you. We politely ask that you keep guests at fittings to a minimum as this will allow the seamstress to concentrate on the finer details with you.

At the moment this is not a service that we offer. We can, however, help you change the look of dresses the achieve the finished style you desire. We do like to honour the designers work by keeping their designs true to their art however some designers offer customisations such as removal of a slit, added sleeves etc. We will guide you on all of the options available.

At this present time there is no charge for appointments.

All sales made in store for made to order, sale items or accessories are non-refundable or exchangeable. A contractual agreement is made during the payment process and is final. Please be sure that you are committed to the purchase as we cannot negotiate our terms if you change your mind.
